Job Description
Essential Functions Leadership & Management Lead, coach, and develop Plant Buyers to ensure effective service delivery and professional growth. Ensure lean procurement processes and best practices are implemented consistently across all plants. Act as the escalation point for procurement-related issues across the region. Embed a performance-driven culture focused on results, compliance, and collaboration. Ensure All NSG Policies and Procedures are adhered to in all plants. Category Management - Indirects Deploy regional indirect strategies in alignment with global objectives. Analyze and manage the supply market, identifying opportunities to optimize cost, quality, risk, and sustainability. Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs. Lead cost reduction, cash generation, and risk mitigation initiatives, ensuring results are captured in Group reporting. Partner with stakeholders to ensure category solutions address business needs while maximizing value. Deliver the agreed budget targets for the category in the region and ensure all savings are fully reported consistently within established Group reporting mechanisms. Undertake specific cross-regional projects within the category, as and when delegated by the Regional Directors. Act as the prime contact with regional SBU stakeholders, in relation to the category. Support supplier process audits (where necessary) in order to validate production to ensure that all necessary controls are in place. Business Performance Deliver annual savings and working capital improvements as set by the Procurement Director. Report procurement performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where required. Drive ESG, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Indirects category.
