Job Description

Full-Time | Mon- Fri 8:00am -4:30pm Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Uniform Manager will oversee purchasing, collection, inventory, and maintenance of uniforms to ensure associates are dressed while striving to lower costs, improve product quality, associate appearance, and obtain better service levels from suppliers while working to establish a level of consistency through departments across the Commerce Division. You will report to the Director of Uniforms.
Primary Tasks:
You will complete ordering, receiving and accounting of company uniforms according to monthly inventory and the needs of each department. Develop and implement standardization of uniforms across the organization, procedures and selection. Identify and select vendor to procure requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality and delivery date. Conduct regular uniform inventory and maintain inventory levels at budgeted approved levels. Consult with management to establish par levels, manage stock control and availability of uniform inventory to meet departmental demand while minimizing cost and inventory levels. You will develop standard operating procedures (SOP's) related to inventory adjustments, inventory movement, count procedures and other related Inventory Control processes for the proper management of tribal assets as pertains to the positions' parameters. Work with Associates, at all levels, to deliver and provide exceptional Internal Guest Service. Develop annual budget for Uniform Department. Oversee the distribution, cleaning, repair and disposal of all uniforms. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Costume Design, Business Management, or related degree or 4 years directly related experience.
  • Knowledge of alterations and able to make repairs; use creative solutions while maintaining appearance standards. Includes hand and machine sewing, hemming, replacement of buttons, and other repairs.
  • Ability to work with other departments and associates at different levels to ensure that the processes are managed and meet audit guidelines.
  • Excellent Guest Service skills.
  • Three (3) years purchasing/materials/inventory management experience
Pay:
$24.95 - $31.19 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
