In this position... As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for a direct purchasing team for the FCSD purchasing organization. In this role, you will prioritize workload to drive metric performance, ensure team development and assessment, lead negotiations, support critical supply issues, and cultivate supplier relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process and cost improvements, support supplier management strategies, and ensure compliance to our standards. People Development:
Identification of team skills gap Development of skilled team to manage complex direct commodities
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments, including marketing and sales organizations, supply chain, & finance to ensure process improvements align with company objectives and business needs. Linkage with other functional areas to ensure leveraged spend and optimized supplier management
Performance Monitoring:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for further process and cost optimization. You'll have... Minimum Bachelor's degree Business Administration or equivalent degree 6+ years Purchasing experience. Established and successful track record of managing complex categories and delivery optimized cost solutions. Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional projects. Experience with purchasing tools and software; Experience with compliance tools and management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
