We are seeking a dynamic professional to serve as the primary interface between Power Generation and Procurement. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in beautiful Auburn, CA, balancing remote work with time in the office. Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business priorities.
Lead a team of Category Leaders to achieve operational and financial goals.
Drive supplier accountability and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Leverage market intelligence to improve supplier performance and contracting outcomes.
Ensure cost-effective and reliable electricity generation through efficient supply chain management.
Oversee contract spend and manage supplier relationships and performance.
Approve purchase orders and contracts within specified financial limits.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (one year of experience for each year of college).
8 years of total sourcing or related industry experience.
Preferences
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Six Sigma, CPSM, or other related certification.
Project Management and Utility industry experience.
2-3 years of supervisory experience.
