Part-Time Procurement Manager - Interior Design Studio Lehmann Creative Studio, LLC Norwalk, CT Job Details Part-time $30 - $40 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Vendor relationship building Computer operation Teamwork Filing Driver's License Attention to detail Managing projects Full Job Description Lehmann Creative Studio is seeking an experienced, highly organized Part-Time Procurement Manager to join our growing residential interior design studio in West Norwalk, CT. The Procurement Manager will oversee the day-to-day procurement process across our residential projects, from requesting quotes and placing orders to tracking shipments, coordinating deliveries, resolving issues, and keeping the principal designer and design team informed every step of the way. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. The Role Prepare vendor quotes and generate client proposals Place orders with vendors, generate Purchase Orders, track payments internally, and update client invoices as needed Manage procurement schedules, lead times, and receiving timelines Track orders and shipments and proactively communicate any delays or issues Submit and follow up on damage claims and vendor resolutions Maintain organized client files, order records, receipts, and documentation Work closely with trade workrooms and vendors on custom furniture and other specialty items Establish and maintain current vendor accounts and relationships Keep the office organized, stocked, and running efficiently Handle occasional design-related errands, including sample pickups and returns Attend occasional site visits to check deliveries and assist the principal designer on installation days Basic Skills & Qualifications A genuine love of interiors and residential design Extremely organized with strong attention to detail Positive, can-do attitude Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Self-motivated and proactive Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team member Motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced creative environment Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Google Drive and Dropbox Basic knowledge of Canva Experience with Houzz Pro is a plus Other Requirements Available to check work email daily and prioritize assigned tasks Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must have a personal laptop Ability to work from the Norwalk office one day per week Available for occasional local site visits, deliveries, and installation days
Physical Requirements:
Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, such as small furnishings, packages, or other deliveries. Compensation
  • $30-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Schedule & Work Location
Part-time:
approximately 10-15 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday, with a flexible schedule
  • Primarily remote, with occasional site visits and assistance on installation days as needed
  • Required office hours: One day per week 9:30am-12:00pm in the Norwalk office
  • Workload may vary depending on project phases and procurement schedules
