Job Description

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Procurement II to work on a 6-months assignment in Louisville, KY.
Summary:
The Senior Procurement Delivery Manager - Americas Mobility & Convenience (M&C) is responsible for leading procurement delivery across the Americas M&C business, ensuring procurement activities are aligned with business priorities and deliver value, operational performance and effective risk management. The role develops a deep understanding of business objectives, opportunities, challenges and demand requirements, translating business needs into procurement plans and delivery activities. The role owns the regional procurement delivery plan, shaping and consolidating demand, identifying value opportunities and coordinating delivery across category, sourcing and supplier management teams. Acting as the primary interface between the business and procurement, the role ensures business priorities, opportunities and risks are reflected in procurement activities and that category strategies can be successfully operationalized within the region. Through strong stakeholder engagement and influence, the role will build trusted partnerships across the business, improve third-party spend management and drive procurement value delivery. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute and transformational leader who develops high-performing teams and delivers results through collaboration, problem solving and effective orchestration across procurement and the business. The role has a significant impact on business performance, procurement value creation and delivery of financial commitments. It is also accountable for procurement reporting and value realization across the Americas M&C business, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders, including Finance, and maintaining a consistent approach to performance measurement, benefits tracking and value reporting.
Responsibilities:
Business Partnership & Commercial Leadership
  • Develop deep understanding of the Americas M&C strategy, priorities, opportunities, challenges and business requirements.
  • Act as the primary procurement interface for the Americas M&C leadership team, ensuring procurement understands business priorities and the business receives the support it needs from procurement.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and represent business priorities across procurement teams.
  • Apply strong commercial acumen and market awareness to help identify opportunities, shape demand and maximise value delivery. Demand Shaping & Procurement Planning
  • Direct and shape business demand through planning, prioritization and constructive challenge.
  • Develop and own the Americas M&C procurement delivery plan.
  • Use data, market insights and procurement levers to identify value opportunities and support delivery of business outcomes.
  • Proactively identify, manage and escalate delivery risks, dependencies and barriers. Procurement Delivery & Value Realization
  • Orchestrate end-to-end procurement delivery across the Americas M&C business.
  • Drive execution of the procurement plan and delivery of committed value outcomes.
  • Monitor progress, remove barriers and coordinate support across procurement teams to maximize delivery.
  • Ensure value opportunities are identified, tracked, realized and reported in accordance with procurement policies and value frameworks. Category Integration
  • Provide business context, priorities and regional insight to category teams.
  • Partner with category teams to ensure strategies can be effectively operationalized within the Americas M&C business.
  • Support mobilisation and execution of category activities aligned to business priorities and delivery plans. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
  • Support strategic supplier relationships and ensure business priorities are represented.
  • Work with supplier managers and business stakeholders to resolve supplier performance issues.
  • Facilitate collaboration across the business and procurement to improve delivery outcomes and supplier performance where required.
  • Champion supplier innovation and opportunities that deliver value to the business. Team Integration & Leadership
  • Connect procurement teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective execution and delivery.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement delivery team.
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build Procurement Delivery capability through coaching, knowledge sharing and development of strong business partnership skills Governance and compliance:
  • Promote compliance with the companie's Code of Conduct (CoC), policies and procedures, monitors the company suppliers, Partner(s) and contractors to ensure compliance.
  • In collaboration with category teams, ensure compliance to Category Management policy and lead regional adaptation of deployed processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7-10 years of procurement experience.
  • SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or Ariba knowledge.
  • Significant experience within convenience retail, grocery, food retail, hospitality retail or other multi-site consumer-facing retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of convenience operating models, store economics, merchandising operations and indirect spend management.
  • Experience partnering with Operations, Finance and Commercial leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional procurement qualification or post graduate degree desirable.
