Procurement & Supply Chain Manager In-Person/Remote (Hybrid) | Knoxville, Tennessee Based About Kaiser Elevators Kaiser Elevators is an independent elevator contractor delivering new installations, modernization, repair and maintenance solutions across the United States. We partner with developers, general contractors, consultants, property managers and building owners to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality elevator solutions. The Opportunity As Procurement & Supply Chain Manager , you'll ensure Kaiser has the materials, equipment and supplier partnerships needed to successfully deliver every project. You'll play a key role in controlling costs, reducing supply risk and building a procurement function that supports Kaiser's continued growth. Your Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies that support Kaiser's operational and commercial objectives. Source and negotiate with suppliers for elevator equipment, materials and subcontracted services. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve pricing, service and reliability. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing to support project schedules. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure materials and equipment are available when required. Manage supplier performance, resolving delivery or quality issues quickly and effectively. Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise project disruption. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier agreements and procurement documentation. Monitor market trends, pricing and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions. Continuously improve procurement processes, systems and reporting as the business grows. What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management. Experience within the elevator industry or commercial construction environment. Previous experience with an independent elevator contractor preferred. Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience managing procurement budgets and cost control initiatives. Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain best practices. Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Remote, Knoxville, Tennessee (or as agreed).
Travel:
Occasional travel to supplier meetings, project sites and industry events as required. Attendance at annual company retreats is expected.
