In this role, you will oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and management of vendor contracts to ensure the timely acquisition of quality goods and services. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies, strengthen supplier relationships, and support the overall operational excellence of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement management, contract negotiation, and supply chain strategies within diverse industries, including public sector purchasing. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on cost savings, quality improvement, and risk mitigation. Lead end-to-end procurement processes Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations. Manage supplier relationships through effective vendor contract management and supplier performance evaluations to foster long-term partnerships. Oversee procurement category management initiatives and strategic sourcing activities to optimize supply chain efficiency across multiple departments. Conduct root cause analysis for procurement issues, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall supply chain performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, finance, legal, and project teams to ensure seamless procurement operations that meet organizational needs. Requirements Proven experience in procurement management within both private and public sectors, with a strong understanding of procurement regulatory requirements. Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain management principles. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic sourcing experience to achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions. Familiarity with procurement category management, logistics coordination, pricing strategies, and quality assurance practices. Effective communication skills for engaging stakeholders across various functions and negotiating directly with suppliers.
