This person will be responsible for leading a team responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple portfolios. Lead the identification and selection of packaging suppliers, ensuring they meet standards for supply assurance, service, cost, quality, sustainability, responsible sourcing and supplier diversity Primary point of contact for all key stakeholders, owning all operational activities related to the sourcing and supply of flexible packaging used in the manufacturing of industry leading brands Identify and execute strategic initiatives within subject categories assuring supply, driving resiliency, and optimizing cost and value creation for the organization Develop category strategies for respective spend categories: complete spend analysis, define business requirements, perform market research, conduct industry and category analysis, initiate risk analysis Manage and execute all steps of the six-step sourcing process including developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, conducting bid analysis, and leading supplier selection The Senior Manager, Packaging Procurement Should Have the
Following Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 8+ years of Procurement and/or Supply Chain experience Minimum of 3 years within packaging procurement Strong proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite Advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities using Power BI and related visualization tools Strong communication skills and proven people leadership and talent development capabilities
