Job Description Roles and Responsibilities + Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. Manage claims. Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. This may also include purchasing activities. + Manages a small to medium team of senior professionals. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within their discipline. May require strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy within own area, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. + May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view. + Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. + Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. + 10+ years progressive experience in purchasing, materials management, or similar roles. + 5+ years in a management role.

Desired Characteristics & Experience:

+ Strong experience in working with financial information as a means of decision making, pricing comparisons & benchmarking + Knowledge of information technologies and services including software licensing models for SaaS and AI models + Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams to deliver and implement sourcing events + Drive to execute under extreme deadline pressures and with multiple priorities + Strong oral and written communication skills including ability to present to executive leadership. + Demonstrated project management skills to document, plan, and execute programs and identify and resolve roadblocks for execution.

+ Travel is required based upon business need. This position may be based remotely or onsite, with a strong preference for onsite presence in St. George, Utah. GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Pay and Benefits:

The base pay range for this position is $134,000-$144,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
