We are seeking a Sourcing Manager/Product Development , who will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing global vendors to ensure high quality apparel production at competitive costs, on time delivery, and in compliance with company standards. This role oversees supplier relationships, cost negotiations, production timelines and testing to support business growth and profitability. Works closely with the Design & Technical teams to oversee the development of product throughout the product's life cycle from inception to shipment of bulk product.

Responsibilities:

Costing & Negotiation:

negotiate all product costs, minimums, lead times. Drive cost saving initiatives while maintaining quality and brand standards. Maintain accurate costing records in PLM system Partner with Design and Technical to align sourcing strategies with business goals. Work with Buyers to achieve best possible cost and quality outcome. Ensure vendors meet quality standards, technical specs and fit requirements Identify opportunities for improved materials, processes and lead time efficiencies Weekly report to management on status updates Weekly WIP monitoring to ensure timelines are being met. Monitor testing reports. Attend development meetings for brands.

Supervise Assistant/Associate Product Manager Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years experience with import products and apparel costing. Strong knowledge of apparel production processes, textiles and garment construction. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as sense of urgency to meet appropriate deadlines. Proven negotiation and cost management skills. Experience working with overseas vendors. Familiarity with testing protocols. Proficiency in PLM systems and Excel. Benefits/Perks!
