Strategic Buyer - Polymer Group Responsibilities include: Develop and execute strategic sourcing / procurement plans that support the future profitability of our polymer group Source suppliers, develop suppliers, and build mutual beneficial relationships with suppliers Manage all resin and petrochemical spend and suppliers for North America Analyze current spend and find areas to improve service, reduce costs, and streamline purchasing procedures Research market trends to determine timing and pricing Negotiate long term and blanket contracts Find creative cost-outs in purchasing policies and with vendor processes Research vendors to determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services Requirements include Experience sourcing and procuring resins, petrochemicals, and other materials to support the production of polymer / plastic products Strong negotiation skills Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies Bachelor's Degree preferred

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
