  • Part-time, Full-time We're seeking a detail-oriented Production Purchasing Administrator to help keep our shop running smoothly.
This role sits at the center of our operation and connects purchasing, order entry, and shop floor material readiness. You'll help synchronize the materials and information that turn raw lumber and components into beautiful, finished furniture our customers will love for generations. Unlike larger manufacturers, this role gives you visibility into the entire process rather than a narrow slice.   • An experienced professional looking for a steady, lower-intensity role with flexible hours What You'll Do Coordinate raw material and component purchasing using Odoo ERP, Airtable, and Microsoft Excel.
Create and manage purchase orders, vendor records, and update pricing data. Enter work orders and facilitate shop floor documentation to support production. Enter shop floor data to support production scheduling. Support inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and data entry. Collaborate with production, design/R D, and logistics to keep jobs moving on time. Assist with documentation of new saleable products, material and tool / tool kits as we continue to grow. Manage supplier relationships. Work dynamically within budgets and production schedule constraints. What Success Looks Like The production team has what they need, when they need it. Inventory is accurate and AP is discrepancy-free. Work orders are on-time, complete, and in the right shop hands to follow.
What We're Looking For Required:
Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, procurement processes, and supply chain operations. Purchasing or vendor management experience, preferably in a manufacturing context. Comfort working in an ERP/MRP system. Strong business math skills (quantities, units, pricing, basic calculations) and ruler reading down to a 1/16". Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to lift 25lbs.
Nice to have:
Experience with Odoo a plus Experience with Excel VBA a plus Role Details Primarily desk-based (~80%) with light-duty shop floor coordination (~20%). Reports to Production and Operations leadership. Part-time to start, with opportunity to grow into a full-time role with broader responsibilities in operations and logistics.
