1st Shift | Full-Time We're looking for a hands-on Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing and supplier management for our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll ensure materials and services are procured on time and cost-effectively while maintaining quality, delivery, inventory, and compliance standards. You'll report directly to the Director of Supply Chain. What You'll Do Translate MRP and production requirements into timely purchase orders Manage material availability and inventory levels to support production Oversee supplier performance related to on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, cost, and lead times Conduct supplier reviews and drive corrective actions when needed Identify alternate suppliers to reduce supply risk Support negotiations around pricing, terms, and lead times Partner with Planning, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to resolve material shortages and supplier issues Support sourcing related to Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), redesigns, and new product introductions (NPI) Monitor purchase price variance (PPV) and identify cost-reduction opportunities Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data within the ERP system Track key supply chain KPIs Lead, coach, and develop a team of Buyers and/or Buyer Planners Drive continuous improvement across purchasing processes and supplier communication What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field 5+ years of progressive purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on supplier management and purchasing experience within an MRP/ERP-driven environment Strong understanding of material planning, lead times, inventory management, and production requirements Proficiency with ERP systems Comfortable working cross-functionally across departments Nice to Have Leadership experience managing, coaching, or developing Buyers/Buyer Planners NetSuite ERP experience Aerospace, electronics, or regulated manufacturing experience Experience supporting NPI, ECOs, and/or production ramp-ups Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience Job Type Full-time, Permanent Pay $85,000 - $100,000 per year Schedule 1st Shift | 100% On Site #CNX200
