Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for all planning/purchasing order creation related duties associated with the review, scheduling, analyzing, and planning of company parts, identifying suppliers and verifying delivered items for Climatic Home Products and Southeastern Appliance. _____________________________________________________________________________________Key Duties/Responsibilities :
Prepare and issue purchase orders within a timely manner. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Perform required Item Maintenance within system. Assist with purchase order invoices and contracts for conformance to company policy. Schedule inbound deliveries for each branch. Maintain supplier relationships. Ability to work well and communicate with members of various departments. Identify opportunities for improvement. Complete special projects and assignments as requested. High school diploma or equivalency required 2-3 years of Planning/Purchasing experience Strong knowledge of planning methods and planning processes (Forecast, ROP, Min/Max, etc..) Excellent time and priority abilities required Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and in-house software Basic mathematical abilities is required APICS certification a plus _____________________________________________________________________________________ Physical Activities and Requirements of thisPosition:
