About this Role NorthStar Energy Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator / Project Procurement Support professional to support procurement operations across industrial and construction projects. This role is responsible for supporting the procurement lifecycle including vendor coordination, RFQ issuance, purchase order processing, material tracking, and project procurement support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced industrial and construction environments while coordinating closely with project managers, engineering, QA/QC, accounting, and field personnel to ensure materials are procured accurately and delivered in alignment with project schedules and operational needs. What You'll Do Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) for piping, electrical, structural, and construction materials and equipment Review vendor quotations and support supplier selection based on pricing, delivery schedules, and project requirements Enter and manage purchase orders accurately within ERP systems Coordinate with project managers, engineering, QA/QC, and field personnel to support project procurement activities Read and interpret client drawings, isometrics, and specifications to support material procurement and project execution Track and verify deliveries using packing slips, proof of delivery documents, and jobsite confirmations Support procurement of pipe, fittings, valves, steel, conduit, cable tray, cable, and related industrial construction materials Work with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues Support material take-offs and procurement activities for bid packages and project estimates Maintain accurate procurement records, open order tracking, and vendor documentation Develop and maintain positive supplier and vendor relationships to support project execution and material availability What You'll Bring Associate's degree or technical coursework preferred 3+ years of experience supporting procurement, purchasing, or project procurement activities in industrial or construction environments Experience supporting procurement of industrial materials such as piping, electrical, mechanical, or structural components Ability to read and understand drawings, isometrics, specifications, and material take-offs Proficiency with ERP software systems (SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, Vista, or similar) Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment Strong written and verbal communication skills What You'll Get As a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs. 401(k) with immediate matching and vesting Fully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, Vision Your choice of
