Job Description

Description:
As a Subcontract Management Sr., you will be responsible for subcontract execution on the International System Team. You will be a key contributor to preparing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of Hardware and Non Recurring Scope. Day to day activities in this role will include: What You Will Be Doing
  • Preparation or bid packages
  • Analysis of supplier proposals
  • Negotiating subcontract provisions and delivery schedule, preparation of award and administration of resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Aero industry experience required
  • Bachelors degree required to apply
  • Experience with: analyzing supplier proposals, performing price analyses, negotiations, administering purchase orders, managing supplier/customer relationships
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
  • Experience with Systems such as SAP or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • Experience contracting large dollar (>$2 million) scope that is TINA compliant (Truth in Negotiations Act)
  • Experience multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
  • Willing/able to travel internationally on a quarterly basis
  • Passport required
Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of technical solutions working with suppliers
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions
  • Experience working collaboratively and operating in an environment with multiple stakeholders and delivering results to those stakeholders
  • Demonstrated mentoring skills and training experience

Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
