Manufacturing Sourcing Manager Roanoke, VA $90,000-$100,000 per year Direct Hire | Full-Time Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Sourcing Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a respected manufacturing client in Roanoke, VA . If you have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost estimating, and cross-functional project leadership, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organization. What You'll Do As the Manufacturing Sourcing Manager, you'll develop and execute sourcing strategies that support manufacturing operations while driving cost savings, supplier performance, and successful new product launches. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Develop and implement sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials. Identify, evaluate, and qualify domestic and global suppliers. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements. Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Support new product development by aligning sourcing activities with engineering and production schedules. Assist project management teams in meeting customer requirements and production demands. Cost Estimating Lead cost estimating efforts for new products. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to analyze drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Develop accurate product cost estimates. Maintain cost databases and benchmarking information. Provide cost analysis for bids, RFQs, and sourcing decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in manufacturing sourcing, cost estimating, and project management Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Experience with ERP/MRP systems and cost estimating software PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Skills Strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations Cost estimation and financial analysis Supplier relationship management Cross-functional project leadership Manufacturing operations knowledge Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing floor settings Occasional domestic and international travel to supplier and production locations Benefits Our client offers a competitive compensation package, including: Competitive salary: $90,000-$100,000 Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Retirement savings plan Career growth opportunities Collaborative and innovative work environment Apply today through Cornerstone Staffing Solutions to be considered for this exciting Direct Hire opportunity in Roanoke, VA.
