Purchasing Manager | Wisconsin Up to $125,000 + up to 10% bonus I'm recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join a global group of life-saving technology companies, designing and manufacturing safety and communications products for the elevator industry. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for end-to-end procurement operations across multiple sites, offering the opportunity to shape procurement strategy, develop a high-performing team, and make a measurable impact on cost, inventory and supplier performance. What you'll be doing:- Lead sourcing, contracting, planning, inventory, warehousing, supplier management and continuity of supply.
- Drive PPV, savings and cost-reduction initiatives while optimizing landed cost, freight, COGS and inventory.
- Build and develop a high-performing procurement team with clear accountability and KPI-led performance management.
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships, leading selection, negotiations, risk management and long-term performance.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance to support NPI, continuous improvement and make-or-buy decisions. What we're looking for:
- 8-10+ years of relevant procurement experience.
- Progressive people leadership experience.
- Strong emotional intelligence and team-building skills.
- Excellent contracting, negotiation and supplier management expertise.
- Manufacturing supply chain experience, including engineering change, component management and NPI exposure.
