Position Summary Twin Disc is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead and execute global procurement strategies that support our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to strengthening our supply chain, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring high-quality supplier performance across key commodities. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, global sourcing expertise, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including casting, forging, and machining. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Lead and develop a team of buyers and commodity managers to align with global supply chain objectives Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, procurement, and supplier management Sourcing & Procurement Strategy Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for critical manufacturing commodities Analyze global markets and identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain optimization Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure supply continuity Supplier Management Identify, qualify, and manage a global supplier base, with emphasis on India and China Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term agreements Monitor supplier performance and lead corrective actions when needed Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering teams to standardize components and optimize total cost of ownership Work closely with operations, quality, and logistics teams to support production goals Global Support Provide guidance and support to sourcing teams in India and other international locations Travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites and Twin Disc facilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in direct material sourcing or procurement within a global manufacturing environment Proven success managing global sourcing projects and supplier relationships Experience working with suppliers in India and/or China Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially metal casting, forging, and machining

CPM, APICS

certification, or Lean Manufacturing experience preferred Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team development capabilities Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communicator across technical and business functions Highly organized with strong project management skills Work Environment Based in Racine, WI Travel required (domestic and international) Why Join Twin Disc?
