Requirements Job Overview This is a Senior Program Coordinator position in Biomedical Graduate Education at Georgetown University Medical Center. The Senior Program Coordinator supports the academic, instructional, student life, admissions and all administrative aspects of the MS in Biotechnology graduate program in. The Senior Program Coordinator supports the Program Director and Associate Program Director. The Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of approximately over 60 graduate students. The responsibilities for this position include assisting with recruitment; admissions; monitoring the academic progress of all graduate students in the program, monitoring merit-based aid, alumni and career services outreach efforts, program administration including faculty and program support, supporting the marketing strategy and website, and organizing special events for program purposes. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Support recruitment and admissions processes for the graduate program Track and report on academic progress for all graduate students Monitor merit‑based financial aid allocations Coordinate alumni engagement and career‑services outreach Manage program operations, including faculty support, marketing/website updates, and special event planning Work Interactions The Senior Program Coordinator reports directly to the Director Biotechnology Program. The Senior Program Coordinator works closely with The Office of Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) including admissions, student services, recruitment and career services, and communications, Office of the Registrar, and Office of Global Services. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's degree preferred 3-7 years of academic administration experience, preferably in the biomedical sciences field Demonstrated administrative and computer experience and competence Experience in database management, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Proficiency with web-based meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.). Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Project management skills Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously Attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information Occasional weekend and after-hours work Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as On-Campus. Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $47,586.00 - $87,558.13 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.Current Georgetown Employees:
