Job Description

Position Summary This is an applicant pool, and applications received for this position will be retained in our applicant database for possible future opportunities . Individuals will be hired as needed based on the availability of positions and the needs of the College. The Part-time Laboratory Facilitator is responsible for assisting faculty with day-to-day laboratory or classroom activities.
Salary:
Compensation will be on the LBW L (Local) Salary Schedule at a rate of $ 30.00 per hour, for a maximum of 19 hours per week, on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. EAMC will provide an additioal $5.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assist in the laboratory or the classroom as assigned. Laboratories and classes may be scheduled during the day, evening, at any campus or off-campus site, including the Luverne Center. 2. Act in an advisory capacity to students regarding classroom and laboratory procedures, problem-solving, and laboratory work assignments 3. Assist in providing classroom and laboratory written material to all students. 4. Assist students with software and learning resources. 5. Assist instructors with recruitment activities. 6. Maintain all records as needed, including student attendance. 7. Maintain professional conduct in dealing with students, staff, administration, faculty, and the college community. 8. Adhere to the prescribed policies of the College. 9. Assist in enforcing all college policies. 10. Assist in the collection of assessment and learning outcomes data. 11. Attend meetings as required. 12. Ensure a safe environment for student learning; maintain the classroom or laboratory in an orderly manner; maintain laboratory inventory of supplies. 13. Maintain appropriate professional licensures and/or certifications as required by discipline. 14. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications All technical lab facilitators must possess a postsecondary degree, certificate, diploma, or equivalent in the assigned technical field from an accredited institution. Active licensure and/or certifications are required.
