VMG is seeking an experienced, organized, and culturally competent Bilingual Program Manager to support the Religious Services Program at the Krome Service Processing Center in Miami, Florida . This full-time, onsite position will provide logistical coordination and overall administrative support for a comprehensive, multi-faith Religious Services Program serving a religiously and culturally diverse population. The Bilingual Program Manager will work collaboratively with the Local Facility Chaplain, facility personnel, religious volunteers, community faith organizations, and VMG leadership to coordinate program activities, support volunteers, communicate with detainees, maintain required documentation, and facilitate the effective day-to-day operation of the Religious Services Program. Key Responsibilities Provide logistical and administrative support for the Religious Services Program. Coordinate religious volunteers and support the scheduling and delivery of approved religious programming and services. Communicate directly and professionally with detainees regarding Religious Services Program activities, schedules, and available resources. Work collaboratively with the Local Facility Chaplain to support the effective operation of the facility's multi-faith Religious Services Program. Coordinate with facility personnel, religious volunteers, community faith organizations, and other program stakeholders regarding program activities and logistical needs. Support communication and coordination with volunteers representing diverse religious traditions. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities and operations. Prepare and produce required monthly program reports . Provide overall administrative support to the Religious Services Program. Support the equitable and neutral administration of religious programming for individuals representing diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and comply with applicable standards of conduct, facility policies, security requirements, and program procedures. Perform other program coordination and administrative duties consistent with the requirements of the Religious Services Program. Required Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in religion, social work, volunteer coordination, logistics management, or a similar field. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. Demonstrated experience working in a detention and/or prison setting . Demonstrated experience working with diverse religious and cultural groups . Ability to coordinate volunteers and provide logistical and administrative support for program operations. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with detainees, facility personnel, religious-services staff, volunteers, and other program stakeholders. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional program reports and documentation. Ability to work effectively within the policies, procedures, security requirements, and operational structure of a secure facility. Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, cultural sensitivity, and ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries. Preferred Qualifications Current or recent experience working at the Krome Service Processing Center or another federal detention facility. Experience supporting a Religious Services Program, institutional chaplaincy program, social services program, or similar structured program. Experience coordinating religious or community volunteers. Previous experience working with immigrant, migrant, or refugee populations . Experience preparing monthly reports and maintaining program documentation. Experience coordinating program logistics and administrative operations. Experience working with community faith organizations and religious leaders representing diverse traditions. Active federal fitness determination, suitability determination, or federal clearance is desirable. Work Environment Full-time, onsite position at the Krome Service Processing Center in Miami, Florida . Work is performed within a secure detention environment serving a religiously and culturally diverse population. The Program Manager will regularly interact with detainees, facility personnel, Religious Services Program staff, volunteers, community faith organizations, and other program stakeholders. The Program Manager must be comfortable supporting a multi-faith program and working respectfully with individuals whose religious beliefs, practices, and cultural backgrounds may differ from their own. The position requires the equitable and neutral administration of Religious Services Program activities without favoritism or preferential treatment based on religious preference or country of origin. The position requires professionalism, discretion, cultural awareness, sound judgment, and adherence to appropriate professional boundaries. Employment is contingent upon successful completion and maintenance of all applicable background investigation, federal fitness/suitability, credentialing, facility-access authorization, and other required screening requirements.
