Early Childhood Morning Program Lead KTR Cannon Beach Mesa, AZ Job Details Part-time $20 - $24 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Professional networking Program management Interpersonal skills Experience working with children Gymnastics Camp experience Youth organization childcare experience Full Job Description Early Childhood Morning Program Lead - KTR Cannon Beach KTR is looking for an exceptional person to own and lead our weekday morning program for young children at our Cannon Beach location in Mesa. This is not a babysitting position and it is not a traditional preschool classroom. KTR is an active, high-energy environment where kids move, play, build confidence, develop independence, make friends, and have fun. We need a leader who can create an experience that makes kids excited to come back and parents confident they chose KTR.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday mornings, approximately 8:30 AM-12:30PM Position:
Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per weekPay:
$20-$24/hour based on experience What You'll Own Lead the KTR morning program and create an exceptional experience every day Welcome children and parents and build strong relationships with families Lead structured movement, games, activities, creative play and age-appropriate learning experiences Keep children active, engaged and having fun Help children develop confidence, independence and social skills Create consistent routines and smooth transitions throughout the morning Manage behavior calmly, positively and confidently Prepare the program area before families arrive Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment Track attendance and important child/family information Communicate professionally with parents about their child's experience Recognize when a child or parent needs additional attention Help new and trial families feel welcome and excited about continuing at KTR Communicate issues and opportunities to KTR management Take ownership of the program without requiring constant supervision Who We're Looking For You may have experience as a: Preschool or early childhood teacher Childcare professional Youth program leader Gymnastics, dance, swim or youth sports instructor Camp or recreation leader Children's activity instructor Gymnastics experience is not required. We're much more interested in finding someone who is exceptional with young children, dependable, energetic, organized and comfortable communicating with parents. You Should Be Exceptional with young children Warm, energetic and engaging Dependable and consistently available weekday mornings Comfortable confidently leading a group of children Patient while still providing structure Excellent at communicating with parents Organized and proactive Comfortable learning technology and following systems Able to receive coaching and feedback Physically comfortable being active, getting on the floor, moving and participating with children Someone who notices what needs to be done and takes care of it What Success Looks Like Success isn't simply completing a shift. Children are excited to come to KTR. Parents know and trust you. The program starts prepared and on time. Kids stay engaged. Trial families want to return. The environment stays safe and organized. Parents receive excellent communication. Most importantly, KTR management can trust you to own the morning program and make it better.
