Manager On Duty YMCA of Silicon Valley - 3.3 Cupertino, CA Job Details $25 - $27 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Staff supervision Hiring First Aid Certification Team management Staff training Staff development First aid and CPR Full Job Description The Cause Driven Leader on Duty is responsible for the supervision and operation of the Member Services Desk & Welcome Center. This position is the point of contact for the branch during mornings, evenings and weekends. The Cause Driven Leader on Duty is entrusted to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

SALARY RANGE
$25.00 - $27.00/hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists staff, members and participants with questions, concerns, etc. Resolves matter quickly and effectively Manages emergencies for the branch when on duty Provides branch tours for prospective members Provides a high level of membership engagement to both current and potential members Attend meetings, online webinars, and trainings. Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Visual and auditory ability to observe and to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation; Ability to lead and interact in group activities and perform related physical skills; Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Ability to climb, push, and pull; Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
Requirements:
1 year customer service experience
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid, or be certified within 30 days of hire. Possess the physical ability to lead group activities. Bilingual preferred. Prior experience in hiring, training and supervising staff. Ability to multi-task, define and resolve issues, and make sound independent decisions. Possess excellent listening and communication skills. Available on weekends and some holidays.
