Program Supervisor I

Under the direction of a Program Manager, plan, organize and direct a specific program within the Department of Behavioral Health Services; supervise assigned support staff. The Program Supervisor I directs an assigned mental health program or site. Incumbents typically direct professional, paraprofessional and clerical personnel. The Program Supervisor II supervises multiple large-scale programs which are more complex and varied and may direct professional staff in accordance with licensure requirements. The Program Supervisor III supervises multiple large-scale programs which are more complex and varied and may direct professional staff in accordance with licensure requirements. The Program Supervisor III also provides clinical direction.

Any combination equivalent to:

Masters degree and two years experience in a mental health setting; Bachelors degree and four years experience in a mental health setting; Associates degree and six years experience in a mental health setting. Valid California driver's license. A valid driver's license may be required at the time of appointment and employees may also be required to drive their own vehicle and provide proof of liability insurance as per Vehicle Code VC § 160020. This position may require pre-employment drug test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for a background investigation.
