Job Description

Under general direction, monitors, interprets and provides guidance on all applicable requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved reliability standards and critical infrastructure protection standards and processes as mandated by North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) reliability regulations; collaborates, coordinates, and assists with the district's reliability compliance program administration activities; monitors Cyber Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) including assessing the development of Business Process Standards (BPS) reliability risk/cyber security risk and requirements; maintains documentation and records of the program. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or public administration and t hree years of progressively responsible experience in regulatory compliance with a minimum of two years of electric reliability compliance experience required. Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required. Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline. A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
