JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Instructional & Program Support Site Lead who is energetic, strategic, and highly organized. This role supports K-8th grade students in out of school time programs while also providing on-site leadership, teacher support, and program coordination. The Site Lead will serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring smooth program implementation, supporting instructional staff, and maintaining an engaging, well-organized learning environment. This role works closely with a remote Program Manager who provides overall program oversight. Programming may include a combination of in-person and virtual (Zoom) instruction and will run during the summer months (June through mid-August).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain all ethical practices by serving the community with integrity, dignity, and professionalism Support implementation of lesson plans, schedules, and program calendars Serve as the on-site lead, ensuring smooth day-to-day program operations Support teachers with lesson delivery, pacing, and classroom management Provide real-time guidance and support to instructional staff Ensure all instructional spaces and materials are organized and conducive to learning Coordinate and manage program materials, supplies, and logistics Set and reinforce positive student behavior expectations Plan, support, and evaluate program activities and overall student engagement Track and submit attendance and program data in a timely manner Communicate effectively with staff, students, and program leadership Assist with program set-up, transitions, and daily operations Additional tasks may be assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
B.A. or B.S. degree required, valid California Teaching Credential preferred Experience working with students in grades K-8 Experience teaching literacy, math, and/or supporting diverse learning needs Experience engaging and motivating students in a classroom or program setting Experience supporting or coaching other educators is a plus Familiarity with MS Office (Word/Excel), Google Suite, and Zoom
QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills Ability to support and guide other educators effectively Highly organized with strong attention to detail Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to problem-solve and adapt in real time Comfortable leading on-site and coordinating program logistics Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Must meet fingerprinting, CPR, and TB clearance requirements prior to assignment Availability for the full duration of the program
COMPENSATION RANGE
Hourly rate $25.00-$35.00 based on qualifications and experience
