Under general supervision, the AP Lead Parent Specialist (S2, S3, CAPP) will provide technical support and work with the Program Supervisor to monitor caseloads and terminations to ensure enrollment flow operates consistent with Agency policies and funding source requirements. The AP Lead Parent Specialist will also provide support to Program Supervisor in day-to-day operations in the department. All duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance to pertinent contractual obligations and department standards.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage a modified caseload of approximately 125 - 150 cases. Conduct the business of Drew CDC in accordance contractual and regulatory requirements with Drew CDC's Employee Handbook, Title 5Funding, Terms and Conditions, Education Code:
Section 8350, DPSS Funding Terms & Conditions and agency Operational Procedures Manuals including, when assigned, assist Program Supervisor in training of new hires. Perform work to achieve the expected program outcomes, outputs including; maintaining or exceeding the program census targets to achieve the Annual Agency Budget targets, participates in the planning, organizing, and direct activities of the Strategic Plan and other Agency projects, ongoing assessment data demonstrating consistency in contract compliance. Upon direction of the Program Supervisor, provide assistance to Case Managers to ensure they are adhering to all eligibility requirements and data collection required. Assist Program Supervisor in conducting random audits and monitoring of cases for program compliance and ensure documentation is accurate, appropriate, and complete. Provide high quality customer service for all parents, providers, internal and external support by advising them on available options and how to successfully navigate through processes. Review case for discrepancies that may identify possible fraud. Assist Program Supervisor, when assigned, in receiving and assigning Stage 1 to Stage 2/3 transfers, Intake requests, interagency transfer's incoming and outgoing, and run monthly timing out reports Stage 2 to Stage 3 eligible children & families and maintaining and updating CAPP eligibility list and review and sign off on new parent files.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years experience in office and or customer service environment. Bachelor's degree and 6 months experience in office and or customer service environment Graduate of an accredited school AA degree and 2 years' experience in office and or customer service environment Proficient in Microsoft applications General math proficiency Strong verbal skills (English/Spanish) Must have ability to work with diverse groups Must be flexible and able to multi-task while working in a collaborative, team environment with a positive attitude Discretion in handling confidential information and ability to honor confidentiality and work sensitively and supportively with the public. Ability to quickly learn County, State and Federal parent/provider contract requirements for Alternative Payment and Child Care Subsidy Programs.Pay:
