English Academic Program Lead iLearn Education - 4.3 Irvine, CA Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $90,000 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications School experience English Education Organizational skills English Managing educational programs Full Job Description iLEARN Education is seeking an experienced English Academic Program Lead to join our K-12 academic team. This is a hands-on leadership role combining English teaching, program management, teacher development, student progress monitoring, and academic quality control . The Program Lead will teach selected English classes while helping manage the overall quality and performance of iLEARN's English programs, including Reading & Writing, Academic Writing, Writing Competition, small-group, private, and online programs . We are looking for a strong educator with leadership potential who can grow into an English Program Director / Academic Director role. Key Responsibilities Teach selected K-12 Reading, Writing, Academic Writing, Grammar, and Vocabulary classes Monitor the overall quality and performance of English programs Track individual student progress and ensure students are meeting appropriate academic milestones and pacing Review student work, homework, assessments, and teacher lesson reports to identify areas needing improvement Observe classes, provide teacher feedback, and support teacher training and development Monitor curriculum implementation, teaching quality, homework expectations, and student outcomes For programs such as Writing Competition , track students through key milestones from topic development and drafting through revision and final submission Review and improve existing curriculum, pacing, assessments, and teaching materials Work closely with Management to plan and develop new English programs , including online programs Help establish curriculum structure, teacher guidelines, student deliverables, and quality standards for new programs Use and evaluate EdTech, AI tools, and digital learning platforms to improve teaching, program management, and online learning Qualifications Bachelor's degree required ; English, Education, Writing, Literature, or a related field preferred Strong K-12 English/ELA teaching experience Strong knowledge of Reading, Writing, Academic Writing, Grammar, and Vocabulary Experience with curriculum development, program management, or academic leadership preferred Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising teachers is strongly preferred Strong understanding of student assessment, curriculum pacing, and progress tracking Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and leadership skills Comfortable with educational technology, AI tools, and digital learning platforms Experience in a K-12 learning center, tutoring center, private school, or academic enrichment program preferred Experience with Writing Competitions, Test Preparation, and/or Speech & Debate is a plus Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese or Korean is strongly preferred Must be available to work on-site in Irvine Ideal Candidate We are looking for a strong English educator who is ready to move into academic leadership. The ideal candidate can teach effectively, manage and support teachers, monitor individual student progress, evaluate program quality, and work with Management to improve existing programs and develop new ones . This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibility and grow toward an English Program Director / Academic Director role.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
