This position ensures a seamless experience for students and supports the program's objectives.
Key Responsibilities Student Affiliation Management:
Coordinate student affiliations with various healthcare providers and educational institutions. Ensure all required documentation and agreements are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Student onboarding process - ensuring all documents are completed and providing a tour of their scheduled sites. Prepare and modify student schedules according to preceptor availability. Ensuring student evaluations are completed by respective preceptors.
Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of student participation and progress. Generate regular reports on student activities, performance, and feedback.
Provider Assignments:
Coordinate with healthcare providers to assign students to appropriate learning experiences. Ensure assignments align with educational goals and program requirements. Support Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants, and volunteer Medical Assistants.
Support and Guidance:
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing any questions or concerns. Provide guidance and support to students throughout their affiliation period.
Program Development:
Assist in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures. Participate in the evaluation and improvement of the program to enhance student experiences.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and accreditation standards. Maintain accurate and organized records for auditing and review purposes. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordination or administrative role within a healthcare or educational setting preferred. Experience with FQHCs or similar healthcare environments is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other Requirements:
Some knowledge of healthcare systems and educational program requirements is a plus. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
