NCOE partners with the five public school districts in Napa County on a variety of programs and issues. NCOE also operates numerous federal and state grants including a robust AmeriCorps program and state-wide projects supporting Special Education students. To learn more about working at NCOE, please visit: https://napacoe.org/careers/ Job Summary Job Summary The job of Program Planner is done for the purpose/s of coordinating the planning, design, development, and implementation of programs or projects; serving as a resource on issues and current trends; assisting fiscal budget team in the development of department budgets and monitoring grants; writing and overseeing grants; coordinating data collection from programs; managing local access for state data collection software; maintaining records, materials, and timelines pertaining to program services; developing and preparing a variety of written materials/tools;and supervising assigned personnel. The Program Planner is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic design, operational oversight, and high-level coordination of Napa EXL programs throughout Region 4. This position ensures program quality across all partner sites by working with processes for evaluation and budget development, driving regional communication, and leading professional development initiatives. • Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required in state and other contracts, budgets, leadership, grant writing and monitoring, needs of special education students. • Bachelor's degree in job-related area with an emphasis in social sciences, or related study.
