The Specialist represents the university in credential transactions with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), serves as the college's authoritative source on credential requirements for candidates, faculty, staff, and employers, and maintains the credential data that support state, federal, and accreditation reporting. The Specialist works in close coordination with program directors and the Teacher Education Fieldwork Manager so that eligibility determinations, placements, and credential recommendations proceed on schedule.
