Job Description:
Growing law firm in the Los Angeles area, considered a powerhouse in the field of plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation, seeks a highly qualified Referrals Program Manager to join its expanding team. The firm has a robust caseload, in federal and state courts, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. The firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees in California. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized & results oriented individual to lead and oversee the strategic initiatives of our referral department. The ideal candidate will manage and mentor a team, design, implement and manage programs that strengthen referral relationships, optimize workflows, and support the firms' growth objectives. This role works closely with the firm's Operations Leadership & Business Development teams and plays a key role in shaping firm-wide growth strategy. The Referrals Program Manager will be a proactive communicator and strategic thinker and have a deep understanding of relationship-driven business development. This individual will have ownership over referral strategy, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the referral program, including partner engagement, onboarding, tracking and reporting, and performance optimization, with full ownership over program outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain program strategies, workflows, and best practices for referral volume, conversion rates, and enhance partner satisfaction. Serve as the primary liaison between the referral and internal teams including attorneys, pre-litigation and operations to ensure alignment and program success. Monitor program performance and key metrics, and actionable insights for leadership. Develop and deliver training resources to staff to support consistent referral handling and relationship management, including onboarding and ongoing coaching for referral team members. Supervise and support referral department personnel, set performance expectations, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Support the firm's business development strategy by cultivating strong relationships with external partners and evaluating partnership opportunities, including identifying high-value referral sources and advising leadership on growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a professional service, legal or client-focused environment. Proven experience managing relationship driven initiatives, client pipelines, or referral programs. Strong understanding of program management methodologies and program management tools. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
