TITLE:

Program Director

REQUIREMENTS

Master's Degree in Gerontology, Aging Service, Social work or related.

JOB DUTIES

Develop, implement, and oversee health and social service programs to address participant needs and organizational objectives; establish administrative procedures and program guidelines consistent with licensing regulations, organizational policies, and budget considerations. (20% of work time) Implement and coordinate program activities such as organizing recreational, educational, and skill-building activities; plan and schedule programs, coordinate necessary resources and staff support, and ensure activities are carried out smoothly and effectively to meet program objectives. (20% of work time) Direct and supervise professional staff, contract personnel, and volunteers involved in program operations; evaluate staff performance, and provide training and guidance. (15% of work time) Assess participant needs and analyze program data to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of services; recommend and implement improvements to program activities, services, and operational procedures to ensure appropriate resource utilization and program outcomes. (15% of work time) Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations; develop and maintain program policies and procedures, oversee review of participant care plans and service documentation. (15% of work time) Collaborate with Administrator to support program objectives and coordinate services; prepare and maintain reports and records related to program operations, budgets, and outcomes, and assist with outreach efforts to promote awareness of available services and resources. (15% of work time)

SALARY:

$76,482 per year.
