Salary:

$78,000 - $87,300 per year

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

Under the supervision of the Senior Executive Director, Implements and maintains the dementia program to Belmont's standards, policies, and procedures regarding the neighborhood. Works collaboratively with Learning Coordinator to develop monthly activity calendars for the dementia neighborhood using the current residents life stories. Ensures adequate staffing through staff scheduling. Actively participates in accident, injury and illness prevention activities. Actively communicates health and safety information to employees and facilitate their involvement in health and safety activities and participate in accident, injury and illness prevention activities. Participates in family events and promote partnership with family. Maintains an adequate inventory of activity supplies through using weekly checklists. Facilitate activities utilizing the typical day structure. Completes health and safety audits finding closure within 30 days.

Education requirements:

None Experience requirements: 2 years of experience in any occupation working with memory care/dementia residents

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Must have work experience in: 1. Health and safety issues with residents 2. Accident and injury prevention with residents 3. Dementia resident activity facilitation 4. Working and supporting a 24/7 community operation 5. Managing a team including staffing, scheduling, recruiting, budgets and performance management
