Job Description

Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Coordinator Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities (CID We are seeking an ADRC Coordinator that will continue to develop CID's Aging & Disability Resource Connection program. In collaboration with San Mateo County Aging and Disability Services, and under the supervision of the Program Manager this role focuses on creating a "No Wrong Door" system to serve people with disabilities, older adults, and caregivers in San Mateo County. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate, with a deep understanding of the independent living movement. The ADRC Coordinator is a full-time in person position with occasional weekends and/or evenings. The Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities (CID) is a consumer-driven, community-based nonprofit organization serving San Mateo County. Founded in 1979, CID is committed to promoting independence, self-determination, and disability justice. As part of the 28 Centers for Independent Living in California, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through comprehensive services and advocacy. Key Responsibilities Provide information, referral services, and options counseling using person-centered approaches. Conduct consumer intakes and needs assessments Maintain resource databases and coordinate data sharing with ADRC partners. Advocate for consumers and assist with independent living needs Participate in training and generate required reports. Qualifications Lived experience as a person with a disability (preferred) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience working with people with disabilities and/or older adults Excellent communication and presentation skills across diverse communities Bilingual/bicultural (preferred) Skilled in delivering high-quality efficient program outputs with the commitment to excellent customer service. Strong strategy, critical thinking, and advocacy skills Demonstrate knowledge of: Independent living movement Independent Living Center (ILC) core services Social service programs in San Mateo County Compensation and Benefits $55,000-$60,000 per year Comprehensive benefits package including vision, dental, medical, 401(k) Professional development opportunities Inclusive and supportive work environment
