Job Summary Job Summary The ideal candidate for the Strings & Orchestra Program Coordinator position is an experienced and collaborative music educator with expertise in strings and orchestral instruction, conducting, and student mentorship. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of instrumental pedagogy, rehearsal techniques, and the artistic and developmental needs of middle and high school musicians, as well as experience leading string and orchestral ensembles and preparing students for high-level performances. Active professional engagement as a performer and/or conductor, as well as familiarity with current trends in music education and the music industry, is highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills, with the ability to coordinate performances, auditions, events, and student activities while supporting the daily operations of a fast-paced conservatory environment.
