Job Description

PathPoint is excited to welcome a full-time Assistant Program Coordinator to lead our day programs in Thousand Oaks CA . Our day services provide behavioral supports and teach vocational, independence, and social skills to adults with developmental disabilities through engaging curriculum and community integration opportunities.

Schedule:
Mon- Fri, 40 hours per week.
Compensation:
This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $26.00 per hour. The pay range for this position is $24.70- $27.30 an hour (subject to change based on a variety of factors).

Employee Assistance Program Referral Bonus Program The Impact You'll Make:
In this role, you will ensure the high quality of support and service across both programs. You will advocate for both your team and the individuals supported in the programs. Our ideal candidate embodies leadership, professionalism, teamwork, creativity, and person-centered thinking. As an Assistant Coordinator you will provide administrative support for assigned programs and plan, design, and implement program curriculum to meet each individual's goals and needs. In collaboration with the Program Coordinator, you will mentor staff, maintain a positive work environment across both programs and ensure our programs and facility follow all applicable regulations, including Community Care Licensing (CCL). You will also provide staffing coverage when needed, including providing direct support as needed to cover staff absences; supervising and supporting program individuals while they are learning and practicing skills at worksites.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services degree and a minimum of 1 year of management experience in the human services field, OR A high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the human services field, including at least 1 year in a management/supervisory position and 2 years of experience or training in either (a) care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility or (b) care and supervision of one or more of the categories of persons to be served by the day program. Culturally aware, acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds, possesses skills to collaborate across cultures, and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences. Must hold a valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience.
