Ujamaa Farmer Collective Land Access Program Interest Form Land Access Program Ujamaa Farmer Collective is currently assessing the interest of farmers in the Greater Sacramento Region interested in leasing land on the site. Current acreage availability includes approximately 3 acres total, with opportunities for 1-3 farm businesses to lease between ½ acre and 3 acres depending on operational needs, experience, and alignment with program goals. The Ujamaa Farmer Collective "Land Access Program" is designed to support the success of Black farm businesses through secure access to land, shared infrastructure, technical support, and community resources through cooperation. Our program includes trial lease opportunities, pathways toward longer-term land tenure, and farmer-centered support systems intended to help growers build stable and successful agricultural operations. We are inviting interested farmers and land-based entrepreneurs to engage with the land through farm tours, open house gatherings, and on-site engagement opportunities as part of our application process. These engagements are intended to help us build relationships, better understand applicant goals, and support prospective farmers as they explore whether the program is a good fit. Our next onsite visit is October 24th, from 9am- 12pm. - at least one engagement is required to apply for full application)
