Oct 26, 2026 Job Description District Administrative Role, 215-day annual contract Program Leadership Develop and hold the vision for all out-of-school time (OST) programming across the district. Provide senior leadership and advocacy for OST programming in the district and the community. Lead coordination and collaboration amongst the OST Admin team, including regular OST Admin meetings regarding OST strategy, policies, procedures, and sustainability. Lead strategic OST initiatives, such as parent engagement, summer programming, and community partnerships. Lead and ensure alignment of staffing, programming, resources, and funding for all OST programs focusing on improving academic outcomes, integration and alignment with in-school initiatives and district goals, and sustainability of these offerings. Develop high quality academic intervention/tutoring systems and enrichment programs for OST programs that will improve academic outcomes for students and provide a wide range of experiences. Develop high quality enrichment programming to promote holistic student development including interest exploration, physical activity, and culturally-relevant activities. Supervise full-time OST Admin staff (Bilingual Student Coordinator, Program Coordinator) through goal-setting, bi-yearly evaluations, and weekly check ins. Supervise part-time OST Support staff (OST Site Assistant, OST Activity Bus Driver). Maintain OST policies and procedures regarding safety, staff and student expectations, and activity guidelines in accordance with LCSD policies and procedures. Program Coordination Guide OST Admin and Support staff with all program aspects of OST, including: hiring, scheduling, training, supervising, and evaluation of instructional staff and volunteers, program delivery, enrolling and scheduling students, site safety, parent communication and involvement, behavior support, and discipline. Manage use of Lake County Intermediate School as the primary site for OST programs. Manage program expenses and supplies procurement. Oversee attendance and program data systems as required for internal use and grant reporting. Manage use of OST Activity Bus and coordinate with the Transportation Manager to provide additional student transportation. Process payroll and submission of OST timesheets to Human Resources Director by the 14th of each month. Manage break and summer program offerings in collaboration with community partners and in accordance with grant requirements. Program Supervision Provide oversight of programs and staff while programs are in operation during all OST hours, including afterschool and Fridays. Serve as the district administrator on duty from 3:15-6:30pm Monday-Thursday and 7:45am-4:00pm on Fridays. Follow LCSD school safety and emergency procedures at all times, and maintain the safety of all students through proper risk management strategies. Serves as substitute for OST Admin team when absent. Conduct OST site safety drills as needed. Stakeholder Engagement Engage community agencies in the school district's OST work, including Youth Program Collective, and maintain MOUs & IGAs. Solicit ongoing input from youth and families on OST programs, including: interviews, focus groups, surveys, and other strategies. Collaborate with school leaders and community partners on parent engagement initiatives and evaluation of those initiatives for OST programs. Funding & Fiscal Seek and secure funding to sustain OST programs including grant opportunities, local fundraising, program partnerships, and program fees to build sustainable, long-term solutions. Collaborate with district administration on fundraising and development strategies. Complete grant reporting requirements in a timely manner, submitting required data to CDE and other funders. Oversee budgets of programs and departments supervised. McKinney-Vento Liaison Serve as McKinney-Vento Liaison for
LCSD:
Manage identification and recording of student homelessness status. Facilitate referrals from LCSD staff to supportive services. Collaborate with LCSD Admin and community partners to secure funding and resources for LCSD homeless education program Qualifications BA in education or related field; Master's preferred Experience in K-12 education, intervention experience a plus Strong commitment to equity in education and promotion of academic achievement Experience working with students living in poverty and English language learners. Experience working in positive youth development and with families of diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience writing and managing grants and budgets preferred Familiarity with Expeditionary Learning core principles Administrative experience in a non-profit or educational setting preferred Experience supervising programs and employees preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational, leadership, and group management skills Experience working collaboratively with other agencies Flexible and creative Proficiency in using computers for communication, record keeping, and database input (Outlook, Google suite, OST attendance database) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred CPR/First Aid required upon employment
