Job Description

Job Title:
Senior Program Manager Job Description The Program Manager will oversee a major program or multiple programs in the future. This role involves supporting new business and organic growth opportunities, ensuring effective communication across a matrix organization of technical subject matter experts, and serving as a technical liaison with vendors. The Program Manager will be responsible for all phases of the program budget and preparing staffing plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. Additionally, the role requires monitoring contract, subcontract, and funding, as well as preparing forecasts of program financial performance. Responsibilities Oversee a major program or multiple programs, ensuring successful execution. Support new business and organic growth opportunities within the organization. Facilitate communication across a matrix organization of technical subject matter experts. Act as a technical liaison with vendors to ensure project requirements are met. Manage all phases of the program budget effectively. Prepare staffing plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. Monitor contracts, subcontracts, and funding to ensure program success. Prepare forecasts of program financial performance to guide decision-making. Essential Skills Experience in program management, particularly in aerospace or satellite sectors. Proficiency in scheduling and managing $50 million programs. Ability to work with classified and unclassified payload programs. Strong communication skills for matrix organization interactions. Clearance required for program involvement. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with satellite and aerospace projects. Knowledge of EO/IR and RF based unclassified payload programs. Work Environment The work environment is a combination of office and manufacturing settings. Employees will work on projects related to miniaturized sensors, designing, developing, building, and deploying novel ground-based and space-based instrumentation. The programs are unclassified payloads, focused on scaling production beyond prototyping and research and development stages. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $120.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
