Job Description
Summary Join our team as a Program Manager supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security and Emergency Management Directorate. In this role, you'll lead high-impact security operations that protect critical personnel, facilities, and missions across the MDA enterprise. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic, multi-site program and play a key role in national security initiatives. On-site role based at Schriever Space Force Base (Colorado Springs, CO) with travel as needed. Responsibilities Lead and oversee security operations across multiple regional sites Ensure seamless coordination between control centers, visitor access, and response teams Supervise and support staff to maintain high performance and contract compliance Manage budgets, reporting, and operational planning to meet program goals Partner with MDA leadership, customers, and internal teams to deliver top-tier service Conduct site assessments and support security planning for events and operations Ensure training, readiness, and adherence to current security procedures Respond to incidents and support emergency operations as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in security, law enforcement, management, or related field (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of leadership experience in security, military, or law enforcement environments 10+ years of experience in security or law enforcement operations, including supervisory roles Proven experience managing programs or sites of similar size and complexity Strong background in operations, budgeting, and decision-making at a leadership level Eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance Ability to travel domestically and internationally (passport required) PMP certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
