Greenwich, CT Public Schools seeks an innovative and dynamic leader to serve as Educational Data & Systems Program Coordinator. This unique position sits at the intersection of digital systems management, educational research, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will partner with the Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent and Cabinet members to serve as an architect for educational data systems, ensuring seamless digital operations while empowering administrators with the data literacy needed to drive student success and operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Systems Management:
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and organization of the District's primary Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS). Direct the technical systems responsible for new student onboarding, automated class rostering, and the generation of report cards. Lead the evaluation, onboarding, and secure integration of new digital tools for both teacher- and student-facing portals.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets, including student achievement, attendance, and enrollment, to generate accessible reports that aid District leadership in strategic decision-making.
Survey & Digital Operations:
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of District-wide surveys (design, automated dissemination, statistical analysis) and evaluate the integration of new teacher-/student-facing digital tools.
Capacity Building:
Develop user-friendly documentation for data structures and provide targeted coaching to help instructional leaders interpret data for school improvement plans.
Compliance & Documentation:
Oversee existing data structures, sources, and reporting processes for all District data systems, including state reporting for achievement, growth, attendance, testing, etc.
Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Eligibility for Connecticut State Intermediate Administrator Certification (092) required
Systems experience required: Demonstrated professional experience managing K-12 educational platforms and Student Information Systems (SIS)
Cross-functional collaboration required: Highly collaborative team player who excels at bridging the gap between technical operations and educational leadership to achieve shared strategic goals
Systems-level problem-solving required: Strong systems thinker who can design, integrate, and troubleshoot data platforms with an eye toward long-term District sustainability and user experience
Analytical proficiency preferred: Advanced mastery of data manipulation and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
Professional development and support expertise preferred: Experience facilitating targeted training focused on technology adoption and data literacy for adult learners
Survey management expertise preferred: Familiarity with survey design and distribution platforms (e.g., Panorama, LEARNPlatform, Qualtrics, Google Forms)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Standard administrator work schedule including attendance at Board meetings and other meetings as needed.
Carries out his/her professional responsibilities to the extent required by the operational programs of the Greenwich Board of Education.
Salary and benefits package is based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Organization of School Administrators
