Homeless Services Program Manager Fellowship Place - 3.8 New Haven, CT Job Details $60,000 - $75,000 a year 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 403(b) Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Fellowship Place, a community based mental health and social service agency, is recruiting for a Program Manager to oversee the agency's daytime drop-in program for the homeless. The program is open 365 days a year to address basic needs and to connect the homeless with primary health care, behavioral health care, shelter services, employment services, government benefits, and housing. The Program Manager is responsible for all daily operations, including scheduling and supervision of staff, program planning, guest intake, and crisis intervention. The Manager also represents the agency on a variety of city and regional committees addressing homelessness, taking an active role in promoting agency services and coordinating efforts with other service providers including shelters, warming centers, and outreach teams. The position requires a MSW degree or graduate degree in a related field and at least two years' experience working with the homeless, or a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 3 years of related work experience. Applicants should have a good understanding of harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and other best practices for engaging guests with multiple challenges. Prior work experience with regional Coordinated Access Networks for the homeless a plus. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. This is an excellent position for individuals seeking to make a difference for a highly vulnerable client population through advocacy and the provision of high quality services. Salary range is $60,000-$75,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a 403-B Retirement plan. Application deadline is May 26.
