Description:
WHAT WE'RE DOING
At Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company, we are at the forefront of aerospace innovation, driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge technology in the field of aviation. We solve the great problems of our times with innovative technologies that define eras. While no one knows what's going to change the world next, our people are already working on it
THE WORK
Program Planning - What It Is & Why It Matters Program planning is the backbone of successful, complex projects. Planners translate strategic goals into detailed, time‑phased schedules, identify risks, and provide the data that leaders need to make informed decisions. Think of it as the "navigation system" for multidisciplinary programs - guiding resources, milestones, and deliverables from concept to completion. If you have ever coordinated construction timelines, managed curriculum rollouts, planned hospitality events, coordinated healthcare programs, overseen product launches, or synchronized mission‑critical operations, you already practice the core of program planning. This role gives you the chance to sharpen those skills, learn industry leading tools, and grow a career that directly supports national defense and aerospace innovation. This position is located in Stratford, Connecticut and will serve as a planner on our Marine Corps Systems (MCS) new capability and sustainment efforts on the CH-53K and VH-92A programs. Schedule Development & Integration Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Analysis & Performance Management Provides the program with time‑phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance. Planning & Proposal Support Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
