WHAT WE'RE DOING
Responsible for the management of supplier cost, delivery, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for Advanced Programs.
THE WORK
The key objectives of this role will include: Support supplier material and GSC labor basis of estimate development in support of quick-turn projects and full proposal efforts. Support efforts to engage program customers on process improvements and reach across LM to benchmark opportunities (i.e., speed to contract) Support efforts to align types of contract & subcontract work with prescribed process and timelines for better up-front program planning. Lead all assigned Advanced Programs Subcontract Management activities, providing clear and mutual understanding of responsibilities and guidance in the execution of tasks in support of the subcontract, including being a key interface to the Advanced Programs Subcontract Program Manager. Support for supply chain strategy development and execution in support of Advanced Programs objectives, including but not limited to new development / capture, overall commercial business strategy, and cost/lead time reduction initiatives in support of a competitive product offering. Drive on time delivery and Purchase Order / Agreement placements and establish metrics consistent with enterprise goals. Minimal travel will be expected as needed to support subcontracts execution.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college 5 years+ of Supply Chain Management, Program Management or Project Management experience
Desired Skills:
Experience working within cross-functional teams on captures, development efforts or change management projects Experienced in Subcontract Management Control Account Manager (CAM) experience Demonstrated ability to negotiate large and small scale subcontracts with supplier investment Well versed in Risk and Opportunity management Must be able to support travel to potential subcontractors Proven flexibility to be able to multi-task and be able to support multiple complex initiatives at the same time Strong written and oral communications skills Detail and Teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work with all levels of management Strong interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Proficiency with SAP Familiarity with engineering systems MatrixOne, Cameo and Dassault 3Dx Familiarity with technical data packages utilizing model based definition (MBD) and model based systems engineering (MBSE) requirements

Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
