Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Quality Improvement Specialist is an exempt position responsible for monitoring and evaluating programs and services; establishing and implementing internal control systems to monitor compliance; ensuring performance and efficiency. Conduct quality program reviews. Prepare monitoring reports. Assist and support programs to identify areas of needed improvement and best practices. Ensure Corrective Action Plans, external and internal, are developed and submitted; monitor the process to ensure completion of the corrective action plan. Review all significant incidents and recommend corrective actions. Monitor compliance with accreditation, standards, and regulations that are required by the agency and assigned programs. Assist the Director in funder-related activities, including audits and meetings. Other duties as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
High School Diploma or equivalent, including four (4) years of relevant experience working in a human service or related field.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with two (2) years of relevant experience working in a human service or related field Computer-literate and competent in using Microsoft Office Suites, SharePoint Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift and/or carry office supplies, files, etc., up to 25 lbs. Must be able to travel. Must have a valid driver's license with current auto insurance coverage.
