Up to $24/hr (DOE, 3-5 years' experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Customer Retention Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for engaging with customers who may be dissatisfied or considering canceling services. You will leverage your problem-solving skills, empathy, and negotiation abilities to retain customers and deliver an exceptional service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries related to service concerns, billing, or cancellations.
  • Identify reasons for dissatisfaction and apply retention strategies to reduce churn.
  • Offer plan adjustments, promotions, or alternative solutions to retain customers.
  • De-escalate challenging situations professionally and with empathy.
  • Communicate the value of products/services to reinforce customer loyalty.
  • Process cancellations accurately when retention efforts are unsuccessful.
  • Document all interactions and outcomes in internal systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Meet or exceed retention, satisfaction, and quality performance metrics.
