Schedule:

Part-Time (approximately 15 hours/week; some evenings/weekends required) About Bloom Fitness Bloom Fitness is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through inclusive fitness, community, and connection. Our programs are designed to build confidence, encourage movement, and create meaningful relationships for our Athletes. Position Summary The Part-Time Program Coordinator will lead and support Bloom Fitness programming in the Southwest Florida region. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive fitness, experienced (or comfortable) working with the IDD community, and energized by building relationships in the community. This individual will facilitate fitness classes, support Athletes, and help grow Bloom's local presence through partnerships and outreach. Key Responsibilities Program Delivery Lead inclusive, adaptive fitness classes for adults with IDD Modify exercises to meet a variety of ability levels Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for all participants Track attendance and basic program outcomes Athlete Engagement Build relationships with Athletes, caregivers, and partner organizations Encourage participation, consistency, and personal growth Ensure all Athletes feel welcomed, included, and supported Community Partnerships Coordinate with local partner sites (day programs, community centers, etc.) Represent Bloom Fitness professionally in the community Assist in identifying and developing new program opportunities Program Coordination Manage class schedules and communication with participants and partners Assist with volunteer coordination when applicable Support local events, demonstrations, and outreach efforts Qualifications Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred) Background in fitness, kinesiology, recreation, education, or a related field (preferred) Comfortable leading group fitness classes (certification a plus, but not required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Ability to adapt quickly and think creatively in a dynamic environment Physical Requirements Ability to lead and demonstrate physical exercises Ability to lift light equipment and be active during class sessions What We're Looking For Someone who genuinely enjoys working with the IDD community A positive, patient, and encouraging presence A team player who is also comfortable working independently Passion for Bloom's mission of inclusion, movement, and community Compensation Annual salary: $19,500 Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week Flexible, mission-driven work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief statement of interest to .
